The conference will take place at
The Norwegian University of Science and Technology located in Trondheim, Norway.
Trondheim, the capitol of central Norway, is an old historic city, a commercial centre and major university location. For us, it is equally relevant that Trondheim is located in the heart of Norway’s recreational fishing opportunities. Several of the world famous Atlantic salmon rivers of Norway are located around and actually inside the city of Trondheim. In the fjord and along the coast just outside town, huge opportunities for saltwater sport fishing are abundant. Just a short drive away, mountain fishing in smaller lakes and rivers for brown trout pop up everywhere.
Trondheim has plenty of activities and experiences to offer accompanying persons, within history and culture, arts, shopping and sport.
Trondheim is conveniently reachable only a short one-hour flight from Oslo, capitol of Norway. June is early summer in Trondheim, and weather might change on the hour from warm, sunny summer to chilly rain. It is a good start for pre- or post conference trips to Norway’s famous fjords, national parks or up to the northern land of the midnight sun.
